Hearthhold, Inc. (“Hearthhold,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Hearthhold, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

To provide the Hearthhold service, we collect information you voluntarily provide, including account information (such as your name, email address, and phone number), information about your home, documents you upload, contacts you designate, and content you create or send through the service.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate, secure, and improve the service; to provide the features you choose to use; to personalize your experience; to send transactional communications related to your account; and to comply with legal obligations.

SMS and email communications

With your consent, Hearthhold may send transactional SMS messages on your behalf to contacts you designate, and may send you account-related SMS notifications. You control each outbound message — Hearthhold never sends SMS to a third party without your explicit per-message approval within the app.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your use of the service. To stop receiving SMS from Hearthhold, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@hearthhold.ai.

Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with (a) service providers who help us operate Hearthhold (including hosting, database, email, and SMS providers), all of whom are bound to handle your data only as directed by us; (b) third parties you explicitly choose to contact, limited to the content of messages you approve; and (c) authorities when required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@hearthhold.ai.

Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work continuously to improve our practices.

Children’s privacy

Hearthhold is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service. Continued use of Hearthhold after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
